  • A couple of k from Mitaka station so use the 52 bus. It's well worth it, 98 acres of lawns, forests, meadows, hills and the river itself. Apparently kids can play in the water, but we didn't get there...  more »
  • Temperature rises rapidly because it was very hot. An ambulance was coming, but perhaps exhaustion? In had fallen in, and. Park came first, but the site is very family-oriented and playing is impressive.

  • A superb park in spring time-consuming surely my favourite in Japan. Excellent facilities, wide open spaces for games, few restrictive rules and a healthy proportions of countryside (butterflies, a nature reserve, a river to damn etc.)
  • Beautiful setting in the middle of the city. Trees, open space, and bike paths. Playground is fun for kids - zip line and obstacle course.
  • This is a fairly large park with a play area, barbecue areas, running and cycling trails, and a kiosk that sells simple foods and draft beer in a glass. Lots of open spaces for kids to run and play. Tennis courts can be booked as well. The American School in Japan is next door so ex-pat Westerners are often around with their kids on weekends.
  • Very tranquil park. Great for BBQs and the like.
  • Nice place to enjoy with family
