Minoo Park, Mino

An easy hike along the riverside trail in Minoo Park leads to a picturesque waterfall, plunging 33 m (108 ft) into the river below. Early on along the path, you'll pass temples, shops, and other facilities, before the trail becomes more verdant and less developed. Expect to take about 45 minutes to walk each way, and bring along some water and a snack with you. Look out for the insectarium on site, and the various other paths that lead off to viewpoints around the park. If visiting in fall, you'll see radiant autumnal colors and can try the novel seasonal treat of deep-fried maple leaves. • This is a beautiful park, and very easy to get to from Osaka/Umeda. A bit of the tarmac road to the waterfall is still closed due to typhoon damage, but it is possible to bypass it and get to the wate...  more »
  • First of all, friends who want to go to the waterfall first look at the official web, because last year typhoon Wind's relationship caused the collapse of Earth Rock, part of the trail is off, but we're still walking up the plane, about a minute and a half, though it's a flat road, but the wind is not wrong, if you don't want to walk, It's only a minute or so before we get to the waterfall, and when we get to the waterfall, the whole landscape is beautiful. With the fried maple leaves on the mountain is also very delicious, in the waterfall beside the picnic is also very 愜 meaning, the mountain entrance has a free foot soup, according to the mind to put money can bubble foot soup, climbed the mountain after the foot soup is very comfortable, Remember to dry your feet with a small towel. Ji-Face waterfall only limited to the friends outside the love, if it is the hope that there is anything special may be good, because it is climbing to see the waterfall

  • This was by far the best part of my Osaka trip! We went around the end of summer, but it would be best to go during autumn to see all the red leaves. It's about an hour walk to the top where the water...  more »
  • This is a beautiful and magical place. The path up to the waterfalls is meandering along the river. There are plenty of scenic spots and cosy onsens on the way. The natural beauty of this place is simply stunning and, for me, the Minoo Park and waterfall is one of the highlights of visiting Osaka.. There are several trails that veer off the main path and are good for hiking and exploring the surrounding mountains. If you have the time, you should definitely include it on your list of sights to visit in Osaka!
  • A very pleasant hike with beautiful scenery. Too bad we could not go as far as the waterfall cos of a typhoon damage to the trail but it was just as pleasant. Must try the fried maple leaf and roasted chestnut along the way. Got a good view of the autumn foliage as well.
  • We went in August and it was a nice walk. Sure it was hot if you went up anything steep but staying to the regular path was actually pretty cool and lovely. Nice and shady with lots of greenery. You basically walk by a creek the whole time up til a great waterfall. No stores were open when we went but the walk was worth it alone.
  • A lovely hike - can’t go to the falls still cause of storm damage. Be sure to visit the temples and eat some tempura maple leaves.
  • Went there after typhoon rain. Path to water fall was closed off due fallen branches. Covered less than 30%route but still worth the morning walk with plenty scenery
