The museum collection was subsequently augmented by the founder's son, Ōkura Kishichirō.CollectionThe three National Treasures in the collection are a Heian-period wooden statue of Samantabhadra (Fugen Bosatsu in Japanese) riding on an elephant; a scroll painting Imperial Guard Cavalry dating to 1247; and a copy of the preface to the Kokinshū attributed to Minamoto no Shunrai. Losses in the 1923 earthquake include one of the dry lacquer statue group of the Ten Great Disciples of which six survive at Kōfuku-ji (National Treasures).

  • Okura Hotel, right on the premises attached to the Museum. Okura began as a collection of the group owner to that level of cultural heritage, jeonsimuldo in the Interior. Entrance fee is expensive compared to the scale.

  • One is a museum located in premises of Hotel Okura. Space, as a collection of the Okura Zaibatsu was expected, but results were disappointing. It was poignant feel the history, but have no content. Admission, I regret.

  • Japan's famously private museum, opposite the Imperial Hotel Okura. There is a wide variety of cultural property taken from Korea to us more than anything, as a familiar Museum Museum of art back to the pagoda in the garden just to watch. Two thousand citizens in the position of these back to the original spot just wishes the pagoda.

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi.
