3.8/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web
A massive conglomeration of offices, residences, entertainment venues, eateries, and more, Roppongi Hills offers access to many tourist-oriented points of interest, all located within easy walking distance of one another. Go for a wander around the expansive development, designed as an almost self-contained community, to observe many towering buildings interspersed with shopping malls and busy workplaces. See what's playing at the neighborhood movie theater, kick back with a drink at one of the many bars, or explore the area's art museum. You'll even find a garden among the buildings, created in the style of the Edo period. Don't miss a chance to head up to the top of the area's tallest building, which acts as the centerpiece of the development and boasts an observation deck with sweeping views over the surrounding metropolis. • Roppongi Hills is a place with enough shops. We went at night with my husband, went around a while, but we went to dinner at the district and we did not stay in Roppongi Hills. It's nice to go to go, although nothing not to be missed.

  • A lot of High end boutiques and a few restaurants. If you want to shop for an expensive purse or shoes this is the place.
  • Good spot for just about anything. This place has boutique to edgy shops to 5 star dining to good local bites. Cool spot
  • Pure Tokyo Modernity! One of my favorite buildings in the city. The architecture, location and size makes it one of the must go spots in Tokyo. Climb to the observatory deck to have astonishing views on central Tokyo, day or night. You can see the illuminated Tokyo tower and the bay. In a clear day even Mt. Fuji. Inside there is also the Mori Art Museum, which has cool temporary exhibitions of modern art, check out the schedule and see which pop artist is in town. The garden around it is nice and the restaurant choices not bad... Just nothing traditional but all modern stuff.
  • Use to work in this building, and can say it is very beautiful especially during the season like Christmas and Halloween. It also has lots of areas to go shopping. You can also go to the top lounge to view Tokyo (recommend you go to the roof at night.)
  • The view is awesome, u can find tokyo tower, skytree, and mount fuji at the same time. I visited during winter season.
  • The Sky Deck is a must, especially in the evening. The view is spectacular. There's usually a display exhibition on as well, so the entrance fee doesn't feel too extravagant.
  • A really nice area to browse, with a convenient skyscraper and a nice view of the Tokyo Tower as well! Lots of seating area and nice view of the Maman sculpture (spider)!
