Odaiba Statue of Liberty, Minato

(2.4/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
See one of New York's most recognizable landmarks in the middle of the Japanese capital as you look up at Odaiba Statue of Liberty, a replica of the famous American statue. Constructed in 1998 to commemorate the ''French Year of Japan'' (the original having been a gift to the US from the people of France), the 12.25 m (40 ft) tall statue has long outlasted its originally planned one-year stint overlooking Tokyo Bay. Backed by an impressive bridge and surrounded by a peaceful garden area, the statue suits the urban surroundings of contemporary Japan well. Use our Tokyo vacation builder to add Odaiba Statue of Liberty and other attractions to your Tokyo vacation plans.

  • Who takes photos here and share with friends, is the feeling they are in New York. The picture contrasted the Rainbow Bridge looks like it was a montage of the San Francisco bridge and the statue of liberty.

  • Is good in photographs, actually is a small statue. I think you may go out do not expect. When there are plenty of fun in the area, however, so she should fit a picture spot. I would be more memorable.
