  • Lots to see once you get there. It is outside of tokyo about a 40 min trip from were we stayed in Shinjuku. Easy to get to the island and the tokyo transport station is in the middle of all the action...  more »

  • It is an artificial island in Tokyo, you can get there by train from Shimbashi crossing the Rainbow Bridge (which is huge). The neighborhood is full of malls is the famous Ferris wheel of 115 meters (there we hopped, it seems to me that a ride lasts 15 minutes). There is also a copy of the statue of liberty. 
 Before the Mall DiverCity there is the famous statue of Gundam, which moves and speaks. It was very pleasant, well worth spending a few hours.
