  • On the floor 52 of the magnificent Tower of Roppongi Hills is an art centre that brings together the Mori Art Museum, Tokyo City View and also a space for art exhibitions. At the time I was sample was famous Japanese character Doraemon. The visit worth the example of excellent quality.

  • 52nd floor Jump Shoen manga anniversary if you're in to modern Japanese comics. Great view but observation deck closes with wind or rain. Main museum showing pink and Warhol pieces so seems like a gre...  more »
  • We went to the top of the Roppongi building and this was there. We walked around looking for "art". Most of it seemed crap and the only bit I liked were the coloured wind chimes. Would not bother unle...  more »

  • I saw a great expo, but there is no permanent exhibition so it's touch and go whether you see something good or not. Pretty expensive, too. But the museum itself is well laid out, and for the price you get a wonderful view of Tokyo from the 52nd floor.
  • Honestly, the exhibit they have at the moment was probably the coolest exhibit I have ever been to. This is a must visit spot - great view of the city up here as well!!
  • Good place to spend some time surrounded by art. The museum is not too big, so it can definitely be visited in 2 hours. The most impressive part is, nonetheless, the observation lounge on the 52nd floor, and also the deck above. A must see, if you are there.
  • Great museum. The current exhibit was such an inspirational collection of artist presented in a great flawless way and very clean environment. My kids (10&7) really enjoyed it to.
  • Great spaces but beware of the exhibition theme Exhibition theme or topic is important, as the main exhibition hall only consists of the artwork of the topic, there isn't much else to see if you don't like the stuff that's being exhibited. 展覽主題很重要,如果沒興趣就不要上去看,有點浪費錢。

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
