  • This site was where there was a residence of Lord Asano Tosa-no-kami who committed seppuku as a result of his attack on Lord Kira at Edo Castle. It was here that Oishi Kuranosuke Yoshio, the leader of...  more »
  • Was originally a Mito Samurai ancestry live in the vicinity, I also half think shrine. Quaternary more than before as the guardian has helped me, as small and the quite atmosphere. From the old captains, this is also a good taste to it. Is the famous Asano Takumi head shrine.

  • Through the upscale residential district from Roppongi Station, arrived in about 10 minutes. It is near the U.S. Embassy residence. This is the feel of history as imagined from the buildings around. One of the dozen Tokyo found on signs at the entrance. I think Ginkgo trees because I want to go during this season.

  • Very beautiful. Zero tourists (other than me). Path to here is small and doesn't look like it'll lead up to here. If you come here, please be respectful and quiet. It's not like the other touristic places. The peace and quiet was amazing plus there is just a beautiful path to walk through. I enjoyed it more than the other shrines so far! 5/5.
  • I stumbled across this shrine while out exploring the Roppongi area. Great quiet place amongst the bustle of Tokyo. There were no other tourists and was a very serene site.
  • Very tranquil and beautiful. No-tourist spot.
  • Amazing shrine. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
  • Nice place. Free to visit.
