Happoen Garden, Minato

(4.6/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Favored as a wedding venue, Happoen Garden features lush tree species and colorful flowers. Stroll through the garden grounds to admire its carefully-manicured assortment of cherry trees, azaleas, waterfalls, and more, laid out over the foundation of a historic residential complex. Don't miss the garden's bonsai collection, including a pine tree that's over 500 years old. Afterwards, stop by the garden's teahouse to indulge in some treats and refreshments. • Very quiet lovely private park in central part of Tokyo. It's great so just go there and see for yourself.  more »
  • This is the place to take a morning walk especially in the spring with all beautiful trees and the silence that few capitals in the world can offer. And take a look at Shoguns temple in the same park.  more »
