  • A visit which is essential in the Japanese capital is, without a doubt, the modern artificial island of Odaiba in the Minato district. To plan the trip to the city of Tokyo should set aside a time, which can be a full day for the visit of this area, which offers a lot of attractions that are concentrated in this place so interesting. One of these attractions is the Centre commercial Aqua City Odaiba, which is undoubtedly one of the most affordable commercial complexes there in the area, near where the river cruises that arrive to the island leave. Aqua City is a perfect place for shopping, take a break in our tour of Odaiba and try one of the many restaurants that are in this mall. As it occurs in DiverCity here also a cosmopolitan atmosphere and all kinds of shops can be found with diversity in restaurants with an interesting culinary offer and supply. Of course, there are also opportunities for leisure and entertainment and has a wide schedule, since the shops are open from 11:00 to 21:00 (restaurants and cafes have more extensive schedules, as well as cinemas). Reach Odaiba is very simple, since there are many river cruises by the Sumida river flowing into this artificial island, as for example we asked from the Asakusa district. We enjoyed the boat ride and we could also get close to the area in which is located the shopping center Aqua City Odaiba. It is also interesting to use the Yurikamome line, which crosses the Rainbow Bridge from Shimbashi and get off at Daiba station. Greetings to all travelers.

  • It has great view, especially at night, and there are tracks outside you can go through to see the great view up close. But the mall is currently being renovated here and there, making it kinda hard to explore. Especially to get to the restaurants.
  • Nice place, nice location, good for touris, many shopkeeper speak English. You get free parking if you have purchased a certain amount. It's very rare in Japan that you can find rude shopkeepers, they are in a shop called biccamera.
  • Similar to other malls in odaiba. Situated along the water. Nice restaurants in the mall. Quite crowded especially on the weekends.
  • This is one interesting place to visit before leaving Japan. By using the ferry you can explore the Tokyo bay ... if you love taking pictures of Tokyo you'll enjoy this trip ...
  • The view is great from all the sides and the shopping complex is nice too! Too many branded shops and they also have a food court in the ground floor. The only con is that it is ALMOST ALWAYS crowded.

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
