#40 of 245 in Shopping in Tokyo
Take a stroll to the city within a city at akasaka Sacas, a shopping and dining complex. The Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) headquarters features a 39-story business tower, high-end residence area, and two performing arts centers--a theater and modern entertaining hall. A wide number of restaurants market food and drinks from all over the world, and you can pick up souvenirs based on popular television characters. Purposefully named after scenic hills ("saka" in Japanese) in the Akasaka area, when the term "Akasaka Sacas" is written backwards, it reads "saca saka saka." • It is a square located in front of the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda line Akasaka station. I think that tradition can ACT Theatre theater and BLITZ nightclub but said winter ice skating rink. Is not so widely enjoyed skating in the middle of the city.

  • Visit winter illuminations began 11/24. Color changes the distance is short and beautiful. There was annual ice rink in the square, we were being entertained. I think a good Gander when you come close to not even bother to come.

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
