  • The buildings of the Meiji era. That mimicked the Western culture, and the palaces of France and Italy also have completely different structures interesting. There is strictly no photography of sorry.

  • Saturday I went to book. It was available, without reservations or free on this day. After the security check like the airport, bought a ticket and enters. Interior of the Guest House is a shooting and drinking or eating. Should not be nowhere played some railings outside. Standing Valet angles, are on the lookout. You have walked the carpet outside Office. It is beautifully decorated. Pillar and staircase with marble chandeliers ceiling, not even the great Kanto earthquake weighs over a ton France and all over the world and is a sight to see. Explain volunteers would think a little commentary and good. It is people who want to know more about good apply for admission prior to audio guide (charges apply).

  • In early July, I visited. Seems to include has been previously reserved, without reservation the main buildings. The main ceiling, reminiscent of European castles. However, elements of Japan and look good, is a really nice building. There are many great fountain. You could see the «mind Tei Japanese style Annex I, was published in the special. In contrast to Japanese-style atmosphere is also very great. Especially recommended is the view from the pond. Admission, including Japanese-style annex was an adult 1,500 yen per person. Little cheaper than good?-at least I can tour in the well, in the not so good this time.

  • Possible to see only from the outside and small piece of the gardens. Nice place if you are walking around but not an absolute must-go. The western-style architecture is quite interesting though. Reminded me of a small Buckingham.
  • Magnificent architecture. Almost as grandiose as Buckingham palace. It's open to public certain times of the year (information is on the website). Although the admission fee is a bit expensive (1,000 yen), worth checking out.
  • Akasaka place is The King place for welcome The famous in the world. Not often to open for ordinary people to come in. Maybe open 1-2 time in the years. Thank you.My friend.
  • The main building opens for public today. We can visit inside the building, main garden and front garden. Today we visited Kacho No Ma Hall and Hagoromo No Ma Hall. Photo taking is not allowed inside the building.
  • Nice place to visit when the grounds are opened to the public (happens a few times a year).

Where to stay in Tokyo

Tokyo abounds with excellent places to stay, from luxury affairs to humble budget-friendly lodgings. Its glittering skyscrapers house numerous international four- and five-star hotels, both in the populous cultural hotspots of Shinjuku and in the business centers of Akasaka and Shinbashi. Meanwhile, hostels catering to the shoestring traveler lie scattered throughout the city. For a memorable, distinctly Japanese experience, seek out a ryokan, a traditional bed and breakfast with tatami floor mats and sliding screen doors.
