Where to stay in Matsuyama

  • Shinonome Shrine is located on the way from the ropeway station to the castle. If you take a ropeway, you miss this shrine. If you walk by climbing steps, you can visit it. It is not hard to walk, so ...  more »
  • Followed by a steep staircase, so women should choose walking shoes. Especially hot days soaking up the Sun, dehydration indeed endure lack of exercise.

  • A ropeway station climb pillar should be. Hillside gate and up the broad stairs, go up the stairs again and the main shrine. Illuminated the beautiful main hall is in the cloudless blue sky. Matsuyama 11th Lord sadakatsu, the clan founder, which was derived from. Matsuyama Castle area Road exit next to the precinct.

  • The Matsuyama clan, Matsudaira ancestors were enshrined shrine was burnt down by Matsuyama shinonome shrine, 0/1973, spun off of the Grand shrine of ISE, Matsuyama shrine which enshrines and, it was rebuilt. By the way I Priest succeeded classmates.
