  • This park, as I heard, restored recently, so many people don't know about this place a lot. It looks like just peaceful and good to walk with a partner or family. I went here after seeing Matsuyama ca...  more »

  • Really beautiful, worth a visit. You can even wear an armor! Do I need to say anything else?
  • This is one of my favourite castles in Japan, along with Himeji Castle. The top is quite pretty and has a beautiful views of Matsuyama. There's also ice cream, food stalls and bathrooms at the top before you enter the castle itself. It's one of the original castles around Japan and the castle complex below is vibrant with a really relaxed atmosphere. There's also a garden (with an entry fee) within this castle complex at the base of the mound that's worth a visit.
  • One of Japan's best castles. It's on a hilltop in the middle of the city so it has great views. the chairlift is a nice way to get to the castle
  • This place is gorgeous and the panoramic view from top is breathtaking! Unlike the concrete castle in Osaka, this castle is still preserved in wood. Chairlift up the mountain was fantastic!
  • One of my favorite castles in Japan. Go there a couple hours before sunset to explore before watching the sun set over Matsuyama.
