  • From Pak kihira aimed to Summit on tatami mats. It is insanely cold at least once in the mat flat. I thought to say it's early October, this cold 3000 meter high mountain indeed. But to climb well enjoyed. Came to Sleepovers in the rising sun and starry sky in the summer following.

  • Were environmental taxes is a good environment. It is equipped with a signpost. Sees a sunny picture of the Alps are just fine, so it is rare. over 2000 metres in overall decent rain gear, cold weather because the temperature is lower than the level required. 360-degree view up near high if you take time in stair-step is good, but worse thighs, I will see at the bottom is has a bad heart. Why let pressure is low.

  • Norikura Highlands of the foliage is mid-October, but in late September, one of 1600 m above sea level, had begun autumn KH Orchard is part. Ride the bus on Mt. Norikura-mat and climbing aboard saddle echo than the mat flat front spectacular fall foliage. Enjoyed the autumn under the clear blue sky. Mat flat flowers had withered completely, but the view of the mountains from the Prefecture square was wonderful. In the stony and from there climb Fuji mitake, walking is difficult to enjoy the views further. Walk along this road, down in addition to hard so. Fujimi is from the opposite side up and down and convenient. Was for the first time in late September came on tatami mats, but weather permitting, foliage and the view is great.

Where to stay in Matsumoto

Matsumoto strikes a balance between the old and the new in its accommodations, as it does with most other aspects of its urban design and culture. The area directly around the main train station houses many of the newer options in town, including some large hotels, both basic and luxury, and a couple of smaller, family-run options. The more historic area north of here has hotels and "ryokan" (guesthouses) with a little more history and character, and with the main attractions of the old town on their doorsteps. The surrounding rural area features a number of hotels with "onsen" (traditional Japanese spas) and campsites.
