  • Historic Izumo ninomiya shrine. What is I-bimicot and go up the stairs on your left. Of God is said to stand on the way home, at the end of the month to pray here 8 million God. Atmosphere atmosphere is dignified. Atmosphere similar to Ichinomiya Kumano Taisha is a little soft, I think I would feel.

Where to stay in Matsue

With its canals, rivers, and lakes central to the look and everyday life of Matsue, many visitors arrive wanting a view of the water. And they're certainly in luck, because the city has placed its primary accommodations up close to the waterways. Traditional "ryokan" (guesthouses) with "onsen" (traditional Japanese spas) sit to the north of the river, while a good number of basic hotels lie to the south. Look around the countryside to the south for clusters of retreats in scenic areas, including traditional ryokan and modern hotels with onsite onsen.
