美保神社 (Miho Jinja), Matsue

(4.5/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
A large thatched wooden shrine dominating a fishing village against spectacular mountainous landscape, 美保神社 (Miho Jinja) boasts the oldest music box in Japan, as well as two ritual dugout-canoes designated as national cultural property. Set in a harbor and linked to the legend of Hagoromo, a robe of feathers, this is the most important of 3,000 Ebisu shrines, which protect fishermen and commerce. Browse through a collection of 846 musical instruments dedicated to Ebisu, and watch monks wind-dry a fresh catch of squid. The shrine has a reputation for encouraging harmony between married couples. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to 美保神社 (Miho Jinja) by using our Matsue tour planner.

It's rule over all three ear Tsu life caught up from the heavens and husband God to Karita. 2 pillars in the end ignore here was in the Ebisu God head who they say they are (see bi-Palace Chigi, and determine the sex God). Great was on the cover of the book of nokyo-sho. Is sea bream rice battles three ear Tsu Princess represents the wealth of it's mouth that clearance in the embroidery pattern, flying in waves. Value for it, all the way to visit a shrine is more than enough.

  • Port, blue stone-paved Street, and grilled squid! Lots of satisfaction here. I parked at the back of the Hall P at the precinct entrance is narrow because the port P is better. Are equipped with toilets.

  • It was a beautiful and austere appearance at shrine. I hope that this lovely DW does not change in a large building.

  • It is a quiet, respectable shrine. I felt a calm feeling in the atmosphere in the mountains surrounded by fishing in front of and around the shrine. Feel the wind on the pavement in front of the Torii gate.
