  • This place has a long history...and mostly locals come here. One of the reasons why we brought our friend here during his visit to Japan was to take him on the road leading up to this place. It's a fa...  more »
  • I try one jizo-Dake mountain mountains of Akagi's, but halfway through the abandoned and too much cold (too much difference between the air temperature and lower! In a whopping 9 degrees too cold wind) to explore the sense 満淵 changed. Walking around is best if fall foliage season would be-is also a hiker's body.

  • Vivid pictures of Zhu, I visited. It seems greatly restored in 2006. Passes through the bridge was passed on the Lake to visit. Travel photography is commonly used, this bridge is in need of repair timber and Russia does not however in some places. The main shrine is still okay. However, Windows or glass. New Office is designed like a shrine, the base is a State-of-the-ordinary building. Parking is located just before the bridge and main back 2 places.

  • One of my favorite secret places in Japan. It has a temple inside an island, inside a lake inside the crater of a dormant volcano. A mystic peaceful spot. The lake has huge koi fishes, you can buy food to feed them at the gift shop next to the temple.
  • Amazingly awsome and peaceful shrine next to a lake.
  • Pretty vermilion shrine by a peaceful lake.
  • This is a magical shrine embedded within a small slice of ancient forest. I lived in Maebashi as an English teacher and coming here was by far the most amazing experience I had during my time here. By the way, the website given above links to a different Akagi Shrine; this one is often called the Miyosawa Akagi Shrine to differentiate from the more well known one on top of Mt. Akagi.
  • With a really good, clean the main shrine. I wonder how crowded holiday season. Very striking is the contrast of main shrine of Lake's visit, I had earlier in the summer, illuminated by the Sun and red. You have conveniently located in Lake, little kids around, parking is coming and one motorcycle, car or tourist bus on absolutely is not.
