  • I visited 10/2. Foliage was still early feeling. Across the road on the other side of the Shinsen Marsh Observatory. From the parking lot walking walkway to the Observatory, is just a few minutes. Iwanai town seen from the observation deck? You could see the beautiful scenery.

  • 10/14 visit to weather better foliage season was. The trees ended up going to the swamp to see Japan Sea, Shakotan Peninsula, farther into the swamp by mrsh. Naganuma also went a little bad feet but saw a fantastic landscape. Uploaded images.

  • Visit in mid-October. Not leaves of autumn, but less rain this year because the wetlands around the Lake is drying up, Ashihara became like. Parking is reasonably well maintained, toilet and small shops, ramen or soba noodles and snacks you can eat. I think mrsh parking walk to the swamp forest in the mountains near 1 kg so high heel shoes is difficult. I think you'd better dress skin because in the forest can be chilly and even poison ivy rash cause, etc.. And lucky to be able to walk with a squirrel. Marsh is very clear. It is a mysterious and serene, very good.
