Crawl through the one-of-a-kind shrine at Yasui-Konpiragu. Though site contains a traditional and beautifully constructed temple, its highly is surely the smaller shrine, which has a hole in it and is covered in prayer tickets. This monument supposedy cuts off, or begins new relationships and strengthens existing ones, depending on which way you crawl though the hole. Purchase a prayer ticket, write your name on it, and join the queue. • A small shrine in front of the large rock (running through a hole in the bottom). 1 per 100 yen buys a paper and pen to wish (bad bonds broken is different/better asked lifted bonds) through the hole in the holding hands after writing back paper glued on top of the pool to rock retained. There is no guarantee, this technique results in a wish liable even in the attached notice of the side of the shrines. Curious to visit. Several people waiting in line to pass through the hole in the writing very hard watching. Westerners look upon more for the fun of it miraculously. Rock, which is attached to wish also in foreign languages, such as English-language Korean Russian German Bonnie looked as well.

  • It is a good match between the cut off the evil destiny shrine. Parking at Ali. At 200 yen for 30 minutes a day is up to 2,000 yen. As the visit to step (1) honden shrine (2) formal written wishes (doesn't at least 100 yen) (3) have the formal, invoking their wishes, monument pass back from the table. (4) now go through to the table from the back. (5) well (have adhesive on the back of the monument) put a formal monument who wish bored out and watch people watching, but it seems I.

  • For keeping harmful relationships away or breaking up with someone. Visit here and crawl through the stone. Also good for married couples and couples with a good relationship yo protect its well being. If you do not believe all this mumbo jumbo, than it is a nice place to take a picture of yourself crawling in a hole in a rock.
  • Participants in the annual Kushi Matsuri (comb festival - 櫛まつり) are walking towards the Kushizuka (a comb grave mound) to attend a purifying and memorial service at the Yasui Konpira-Gu (安井金比羅宮) in Kyoto. All the traditional hair styles, from the ancient times to the present day Maiko are represented. The hair styles are made with natural hair and require very skilled techniques to implement. Every year members of Kyoto Beauty Culture Club recreate these traditional Japanese hairstyles. The ladies are waiting for the purifying and memorial service at the Yasui Konpira-Gu (安井金比羅宮) in Kyoto to commence.
  • This shrine is a lovely stop if you're wandering down Hanamikoji in Gion. It's spacious but still manages to feel intimate. What's unique about this particular shrine is the large stone with a hole in the center. One writes a wish on the special piece of paper provided, holds it in hand as he passes through the stone twice (back and forth) then attaches the wish to the stone. As with all shrines and temples, be respectful of the people who are there to worship.
  • Awesome shrine! Very unique shrine!
  • A great stopover. Good food choices

Where to stay in Kyoto

Kyoto spoils visitors for choice when it comes to good accommodations, offering everything from traditional ryokans to luxury Western-style hotels. In a city used to receiving foreign travelers, you'll find that most establishments know exactly what to offer tourists and how to help newcomers to the area. To avoid paying premium prices during the cherry blossom season, consider staying in Osaka, located just a 30-minute train ride away. If you must stay in Kyoto itself, keep in mind that centrally located hotels charge more than those in the outer neighborhoods.
