  • This shrine is a lovely stop if you're wandering down Hanamikoji in Gion. It's spacious but still manages to feel intimate. What's unique about this particular shrine is the large stone with a hole in the center. One writes a wish on the special piece of paper provided, holds it in hand as he passes through the stone twice (back and forth) then attaches the wish to the stone. As with all shrines and temples, be respectful of the people who are there to worship.
  • A great stopover. Good food choices
  • A Nice temple , if you go through the hole in the rock you have all negative influences cleared away then when you come back through you make a wish and the good influences will low to you .
  • Even more lovely at night
  • Interesting!
