  • I went to see plum blossoms. Walk from the nearest bus stop is located less than one hour by bus from Kyoto station, very convenient. Monday to Friday 10:00 arrived in the past. Was a little person, but at least slow plums could see. I think it was only the early-flowering plum blossoms because I went early, because plenty of plum tree, sees a pretty nice plum trees. Precinct has lots of cats who are familiar, helpful all the time at your own pace.

Precincts have several cats, as well as feral cats and cat umemiya Taisha was a poster. None was a gentle cat. Pleasing as possible. Immediately was filled with beautiful Plum blossoms and sweet-smelling. Pond stroll is a very good feeling. As well as the plum flower, azalea, Iris, Japanese IRIS, hydrangea and season regardless of views. It is recommended that once you visit. In addition, planted on Yuan fee is adults 550 yen.

  • From Hankyu Matsuo shrine station takes about 10 minutes on foot. There were a lot of people because it went in early March, but the day was a plum from the Festival. Umemiya planted a garden, 550 Yen was paid. Plum tree other than IRIS and hydrangea and enjoy each season in May. NHK "cat walk" Kyoto had cats here have appeared recently, so the cat's mercenary who might.

  • Absolutely GORGEOUS place to view plum blossoms. Was there March 15, 2014, right as the plums were just really getting going. The main temple was free, but you could pay to go into the gardens. Children under 6 were free, and us adults only had to pay 500 yen each to walk around a lovely lake. As it is a bit off the beaten track, there were very few people there, so we had an excellent time taking pictures of gorgeous views without anyone else in the frame. Just a great place to visit, a great day activity. The kids loved it.
  • Very cute cats in this very nice place. ❤
  • I attended the festival at 2015/08/30. It was great. I've seen the show and eaten the street foods.
