  • 年取rimashita knew from the old name of Takase River, but without knowing the reality. Is that as developed waterways flowing parallel to the Kamo River was about perception, the suminokura to invest his money and was instrumental in the development of Kyoto. I stopped by and saikoku-JI Kannon 33 19-leather-temple do return. It is close to Museum of Shimadzu.

  • It is very nice to take a walk along Takasegawa. Although it is now a small river, it used to be as an important route of internal navigation between Kyoto and Osaka. This spot "Ichino Funairi" is nea...  more »
  • Shijo is North from kawaramachi and good walks. Remains of history everywhere, enjoy. Near the end of Shimadzu Museum and is recommended.
