  • Hanamikoji is excellent, but I saw a tea shop here. In the cobbled streets lined with narrow houses, tasteful. Near the wedding will be here and there I saw a bride wearing a pure white dress.

  • Walk in the surroundings of the riachuelo Shirakawa was the most desired things of all that we had planned in this city so special. Walk along the canal was a journey in time which made us enjoy the most authentic and traditional Japan. It is a beautiful journey that I recommend to do without fail. If it can be, it is also highly recommended to closely see the memorial Yoshii Isamu, a famous poet and writer who loved this Gion district, as they are well clear verses that can be read on the stone you remember him as a memorial. The various bridges that allow to cross the channel, give the set a special charm, which is necessary to live calmly and capture in photos that are precious because the place is very and photogenic. The surroundings of the canal are filled with trees (willows and two plum trees), restaurants and tea houses that, both day and night, creating a special atmosphere full of peace and quiet, that we fail to perceive in any other area of the city. If you have time, it is also highly recommended a visit to the Museum Tetsuo Ishihara of Japanese traditional hairstyles, with a sample of more than 100 examples of traditional Japanese hairstyles, with several collections of combs and hair ornaments used by maikos and geishas. Distinct, traditional, area whose visit is recommendable. Greetings to all travelers.

  • The ancient street of a small bridge, on both sides there are quite a few very elegant dining halls, although did not go to eat, but the atmosphere should be very good, and more interesting is to encounter more than just a group of outside filming home, see is also the outside of the hot door scene point.

Where to stay in Kyoto

Kyoto spoils visitors for choice when it comes to good accommodations, offering everything from traditional ryokans to luxury Western-style hotels. In a city used to receiving foreign travelers, you'll find that most establishments know exactly what to offer tourists and how to help newcomers to the area. To avoid paying premium prices during the cherry blossom season, consider staying in Osaka, located just a 30-minute train ride away. If you must stay in Kyoto itself, keep in mind that centrally located hotels charge more than those in the outer neighborhoods.
