  • Walk up steep from the kodai-ji Temple 南脇. In terms of content, there are few academic worth. It is sufficient if Hotel description is just the thing to know if you're a history buff of the Tokugawa shogunate, so he didn't go to the Museum, is the grave of Sakamoto ryōma and Nakaoka shintarō visit. Much is no toy.

  • Ryozen Museum of history was going to want to go once to come! "Ryoma and prosperous Saigo" was being held at the 150th anniversary of the imperial power. Saigo and cut the Dragon horse wakizashi sword beheaded were on display. I was impressed by many replicas in the local Pavilion here is often real.

  • Is the place I go 1 place revisited in the hope of a friend from the area, but not enough, in his will is not going again. Anyway, the end of Edo period, imperialism, shizoku, in willing, because the figure of his era, is all favorite... had cause to do what is created from the later winner of the good old saying, because take it as fact exhibition and description is not Is not convinced. And say clearly closed, 700 yen on Monday.

  • If you can't speak Japanese it isn't really worthwhile due to almost no English whatsoever - prepare to have Wikipedia be your guide. Very interesting period in Japanese history though so worth learning about.
  • Informative place with very old antiques. Excellent for a refresh in history.
  • No english but definitely worth going to because the walk up to it is amazing. Quite small but if you can understand the language it seemed informative.
  • And I was even good. Prohibited, so taken was not dressed as Shinsengumi, photo shoots can be a very nice I.. You could touch the matchlock guns were used at the end of shogunate real. Hijikata third sword Yamato defense sources, national (Yamamoto of Minamoto tips in country) and dagger stuff, wakizashi, and impressed me-gumi fan,. But when I said I love anime series? (Hakuoki) and collaboration, and I had turned a blind eye might be those who like such things, but the favorite is noisy, loud and screaming when the character found only. I thought to Panel and animated to music Panel is still good if only a little, but I enjoy the long-awaited, annoying. I wanted to divide a room or something.

  • Within walking distance to the top of the mountain, so it's kinda hard. Therefore, on the way out minivan. Free of charge. History Museum itself is 700 yen.

Where to stay in Kyoto

Kyoto spoils visitors for choice when it comes to good accommodations, offering everything from traditional ryokans to luxury Western-style hotels. In a city used to receiving foreign travelers, you'll find that most establishments know exactly what to offer tourists and how to help newcomers to the area. To avoid paying premium prices during the cherry blossom season, consider staying in Osaka, located just a 30-minute train ride away. If you must stay in Kyoto itself, keep in mind that centrally located hotels charge more than those in the outer neighborhoods.
