Ōhorano Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Nishikyō-ku, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.Ōhorano is dedicated to the Fujiwara tutelary kami, Amenokoyane, who was said to have assisted in the founding of the state.HistoryThe shrine became the object of Imperial patronage during the early Heian period. In 965, Emperor Murakami ordered that Imperial messengers were sent to report important events to the guardian kami of Japan. These heihaku were initially presented to 16 shrines including the Ōharano Shrine.From 1871 through 1946, the Ōhorano Shrine was officially designated one of the, meaning that it stood in the second rank of government supported shrines.

  • Unlike the shrine located in the heart of Kyoto, and rustic feel of that shrine of Kasuga Taisha Shrine of Nara, a horse-drawn carriage, NARA's atmosphere. KOMA deer guardian must be welcomed. Just disappointing thing was done live in an environment.

  • Muko station on JR, Hankyu Higashi-Mukō station on the Hankyu bus ride, the bus South Kasuga down in town and can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Parking is 1 400 Yen. Near the gate is colored red with Maple the area around the shrine autumn is best overall. Yet there are trees leaves, followed by the. Autumn is beautiful around the shrine known as the Temple of flowers with Temple, Shobo-ji Temple. Km away from the town and oharano, because behind the mountains, mountains can be enjoyed.

  • When in full bloom 2-only 3 days 1000 eye cherry tree is stunning. 4/6 visited the fair on the first day of local TV coverage was coming. Oharano Jinja: shrine of the Kasuga Taisha Shrine of Nara in a similar atmosphere of the shrine.
