  • Nonomiya shrine was tried because the student had learned the tale of Genji. Uji-jujyo was selected because the are done many times, but this is for the first time. Last-minute distance from Kyoto station several buses day in tickets. It is cozy and charming shrine. Because marriage is out in front was drifting feminine air. On weekdays, there is quite a distance from the Kyoto station, there were a lot of people is impressive. A lot of foreign tourists. Because Bamboo Grove along with tourism. I felt it almost had the worshippers to Matsuo shrine famous. Personally I think the Kuroki Torii and carpet Moss attractions.

  • God of marriage and there was a small shrine, and it was very crowded. Many lined up young woman visits. After the visit and go back to MOSS carpet very beautiful and quiet turns the air.

  • It was such an interesting shrine with mountains of doors of all sizes that you could imagine. You can enjoy the culture as well as climbing the hills. Great culture experience!  more »

  • Nonomiya-jinja Shrine, dedicated to the Sun Goddess and to the deity of fire. Once filled with imperial princesses who were sent by their emperors to reside here to purify themselves, today it’s filled with modern princesses chasing after the next selfie moment. Oh yeah, people do come here to seek purity and perhaps to find love.
  • Cute. Small. Free.
  • Great view , cool vibe, nature at it's best
  • Great place to see if you're a tourist. Everything had descriptions in English (and some other languages were also available here and there).
  • Another very beautiful shrine. Worth a visit and is a good day trip in from Kyoto.
