  • Since the 岚忻 mountain to see the flower Light Road, road through this shrine. Listening to the very experience of marriage, although it was raining, the temperature approached 0 degrees. There are still a lot of men and women in the participation. The space of the shrine is not very large, and the consistent of the fish will not be too overcrowded. An accessible shrine.

  • Is a Shinto shrine in the middle of the bamboo forest Arashiyama. Marriage, children, etc seems to be blessings. Kameishi stone and enshrined and patted you wish is true. On the grounds of carpets, came to the garden and clean.

  • On the marriage or power spot boom, Wow's crowd. Located near the bamboo forest of the tenryu-ji Temple from Arashiyama is a shrine. Maybe that's why many young couples or foreigners. It's a crowd as visited on holiday, but cannot be visited normally. Associated with Yasui konpira shrine of marriage (though also overhears) turnout and enthusiasm as well. The only time people not to visit early in the morning or during the week.

  • Nonomiya-jinja Shrine, dedicated to the Sun Goddess and to the deity of fire. Once filled with imperial princesses who were sent by their emperors to reside here to purify themselves, today it’s filled with modern princesses chasing after the next selfie moment. Oh yeah, people do come here to seek purity and perhaps to find love.
  • Great place to see if you're a tourist. Everything had descriptions in English (and some other languages were also available here and there).
  • Another very beautiful shrine. Worth a visit and is a good day trip in from Kyoto.
  • Largest temple/shrine grounds in all of Kyoto, and you're invited to walk, bicycle, or even drive through the grounds of this holy place, on your way to anyplace else you're headed....even when this place is closed.
  • The shrine it self is OK. The main attraction here is the bamboo path. It is scenic and most importantly, free. Other than that, not much else. It's worth walking through if you bought the all day bus pass so money isn't an issue.

Where to stay in Kyoto

Kyoto spoils visitors for choice when it comes to good accommodations, offering everything from traditional ryokans to luxury Western-style hotels. In a city used to receiving foreign travelers, you'll find that most establishments know exactly what to offer tourists and how to help newcomers to the area. To avoid paying premium prices during the cherry blossom season, consider staying in Osaka, located just a 30-minute train ride away. If you must stay in Kyoto itself, keep in mind that centrally located hotels charge more than those in the outer neighborhoods.
