  • Villa built in Meiji Yamagata aritomo. It is through the atmosphere of Meiji era garden. Nice relaxing walk in the garden, where you can enjoy nature in the garden. Lower entrance by the way small and a little incognito mood!

  • I visited Kyoto, Okazaki was in Yamagata aritomo Villa 無鄰 has come out. Garden Meiji era focused on the flow of water from Lake Biwa, and views will also was beautifully colored leaves in the garden. Meeting rooms in the mansion here, statesmen of the Meiji period that decided the casus belli for the Russo-Japanese war. I see a piece of history.

  • Murin-an ( Villa ) 無鄰菴 : When you get a chance to visit Keage or Okazaki area in Sakyo-ku. This is a hidden place with a beautiful garden called Murin-an. The place is located just across the narrow path on the west side of Kyoto International Community House. The garden was built in the late 18th century ( Meiji Period ) by Yamagata Aritomo who was an important figure in the politics and military affairs of the Meiji Period. It is an example of a classical Japanese promenade garden of the Meiji Period. Murin-an used to be a private villa of Yamagata Aritomo. The origin of its name " Mu 無 = non + Rin = next to 隣 + An = a hermitage いおり " meaning the house was built in isolation and there is no house built next to the property. ● Hours : 9:00a.m.-4:30p.m. ● Access : 7 min walk from Subway Tozai Line to "Keage". Fee :350 yen ( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide )
  • Good place to visit
  • Wonderful place! Beautiful landscape and sense of peace. It's really the sense of Japan. Worth to see if you want to know something more about Japanese soul.
  • Known as one of the masterpieces of modern Japan garden is relatively free. The rhythmic sound of the Brook good feelings. It is time time drinking tea here is exceptional.

  • It is a villa of the Meiji era. This region was famous as a vacation home. I of the Bik hotel is a building like the following. And also some views. By all means stop by.
