Enjoy a 360-degree panorama from the top of Kyoto Tower, the tallest building in Kyoto. The 131 m (430 ft) tall tower was opened in 1964 to coincide with the Tokyo summer olympics, and stands on top of a hotel and shopping complex. Visit the observation deck, which is nestled at a height of 100 m (328 ft), to observe the skyline of the whole city. You can also see the surrounding mountains, and even a couple of Osaka structures if the day is clear. Gaze through the free telescopes available on the deck, or visit the panoramic restaurant below. • It appears in front of Kyoto station. And like no tall buildings in Kyoto, Kyoto Tower, the tallest building is. 1310000 population of Kyoto Tower building was named after the height is 131 meters, the image of the lighthouse. Enjoy views of the four seasons of Kyoto from the Observatory located 100 m above the ground and the night view and Jacuzzi baths, but I saw the night view from the tower is not yet. Stay at Kyoto Tower Hotel and the Chateau Tower free tickets.

  • It's rather rundown. Level 5F: Observation Deck Level B3F: Public Bath house YUU, 7:00-22:00 (last entry 21:30) Level 3F: Kansai Tourist Information Center Level 2F: Daiso Level 4F: Geisha/Maiko dress up the last time I went. I'm not sure if it's still there as it all looked rather quiet. Ground floor level: Souvenir shops
  • Very nice view of Kyoto and its surroundings. On top there are free binoculars, a shame that you can't drink something on the top.
  • Bar was awesome inside. View of kyoto train station was nice. Not as high or impressive as rialto tower in Melbourne.
  • The view to kiyomizu-dera is simply amazing. Free binoculars are an absolute plus. It would be even better if you could get a drink up there.
  • Offers great views but quite expensive to enter. The tower itself looks fantastic at night however.
