  • The main building is currently closed due to renovations (until 2019) however my husband and I visited the exhibition currently being held at the annex and were not disappointed. Was a beautiful and very clean space with lovely art pieces and a wonderful exhibit displaying artworks by children in the community. It was very heartwarming to see how Kyoto values creativity and individuality of its young people and was honestly one of the hi-lights of our time in Kyoto.
  • I have been there many times and there is always a great show
  • We visited this museum during the Renoir exhibit which was very interesting and had pieces borrowed from collections around the world. Very beautiful area and quite affordable visit prices.
  • This is the first museum I visited in Japan. They have always organized the special exhibition event. It's so valuable to spend time there.
  • Dali exhibition! Talk about good timing! 16$ to see everything but the famous works, aka the real bulk of an artists work. Great exhibition.
