  • Kyoto Municipal Museum of art is a magnificent building. Lot of baggage lockers are located, so anyone can enjoy light. Dali exhibition was held in the 8/2016. Visited soon after lunch, but lined up a little just now admitted immediately. But coming out of the building, I was surprised! Long queues were made outside the building. In the Museum of fine arts was quite crowded. But it was fun because it was substantial. But especially the collaboration with Disney's animated short, happy. Proximity to the Heian shrine is conveniently located. Delicious Kyoto, such as the "岡北" there are noodle restaurants. I would think either due to the contents of the exhibition, but also incorporated into the Kyoto tourism better.

  • After enjoying fall foliage of the nanzen-JI, jakuchū exhibition held in the know and up to Kyoto Municipal Museum of art. Walk, about 10 minutes. Historic buildings and mountains (upper mountain? ) Of the could enjoy scenery and walking. Was closed partially right in the middle of the excavation for the Museum, but it also looks like Kyoto, it is. Museum exterior and Interior in the retro atmosphere, and belong to the town where I felt the sense of high perfection of Kyoto City.

  • Is a wonderful Museum, now talking of naming rights lately anyway. Includes heavyweights such as Takeuchi Seiho, Salvador Dali exhibition. However Kyoto is a city of arts. I think it's fun because there are many yet unknown talented young artists, you can also check out.

  • We visited this museum during the Renoir exhibit which was very interesting and had pieces borrowed from collections around the world. Very beautiful area and quite affordable visit prices.
  • Dali exhibition! Talk about good timing! 16$ to see everything but the famous works, aka the real bulk of an artists work. Great exhibition.
  • An excellent place to view an exhibition of various art. Rated 4 out of 5 stars as an international tourist attraction ,has an insufficient number of English signs, and staff capable of speaking English.
  • This is the first museum I visited in Japan. They have always organized the special exhibition event. It's so valuable to spend time there.
  • I like some of their exhibitions. It always busy though. The building is nice.
