  • It is located a 15-minute walk from Kyoto station small Aquarium. Invisible is the name of the fish are on display. Dolphin was the only look back to-ji Temple, the bullet train location! Lol

  • the Aquarius of small size, good mood and with fish and nice attractions but not many. the staff are not very receptive to foreigners but it is possible to turn right. There could be more explanations and even guidelines in other languages, or even English. worth a quick visit ...

  • We went with son and his wife and 4-year-old 6-year-old grandson. Kaiyukan as loud, if not a small children can enjoy 10 minutes. There are a lot of penguins, dolphin show, and to thin Anago food is fun to do so. Most memorable, was surprised had hardened in the tank a lot of giant salamander. Person in charge enters the tank feeding was seen to do. The high-speed trains outside the park were also seen, Sun was elated. It is better if you go by bus, get off now it's confusing city driving in.

  • This is a small aquarium with a limited selection of aquatic animals, but stands out because it presents the local fauna of Kyoto. You probably won't find so many salamanders and tiny eels anywhere else around the world. Definitely worth a visit on your second or third visit to the city, or with your family if you are a resident of Kyoto.
  • I've seen many aquariums around the world. This one is average at best. There are so many nice things to see in Kyoto that I don't recommend you go here unless you're sick of temples and it's raining. Even then consider the train museum next door which is actually worth a visit.
  • 20 $ for adult. It's not a big place but at least I can enjoy something new rather than Temple and Shrine everyday.
  • It's worth spending a afternoon for family. It's not a huge place but has lots of wonderful mix of animals. Some parts of it, such as Jelly fish room and 2-3 floor high tank will definitely give you a wow!
  • Kyoto Aquarium and Kyoto Railway Museum are both in Umenokoji area near Kyoto station. You might want to visit this place at the same time. ( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide )
