  • Kiyomizu-zaka is the street leading up to Kiyomizudera. Together with Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, it forms the main shopping area here. It gets pretty packed though, so it may be challenging to stop any...  more »
  • Is a shrine to Kiyomizu Temple, Kiyomizu-yaki pottery shops. I think that'd staple a tea cup or memorabilia is nice. I think fun and sweet tasting while climbing the many souvenir shops in the middle of the slope.

  • Bustling shopping street selling Japanese snacks, treats and souvenirs at pretty good price. Stop by here before or after visiting Kiyomizu-dera.
  • Love this street alot. Best if you can wear a kimono, it really takes you back to edo period. Ride the rickshaw and take lots of photo.
  • Best experienced with a Kimono/Yukata. It almost feels like a theme park with plenty of dining and shopping options available.
  • Interesting shops along the way.
  • Lots of nice places to check out
