Pay a visit to Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine, a significant Shinto shrine known for its thousands of red and white plum blossom trees. The shrine, founded in the 10th century, is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, an exiled scholar and poet who had a love for plum trees and featured them often in his famous poems. • I visited at the end of February. Plum blossoms are in full bloom was very clean. Go by bus from Kyoto train station and easy to understand. Bus couldn't get on buses and crowded, the first came. Enshrines Sugawara trail length of God. Examination season from the plum blossoms are clean then was very busy. I rang a Bell, to visit the very long line, but all are clean-lined, too crowded columns went relatively smoothly. Statue of cow turns out good level how to know, was all over the place. Plum blossoms were beautiful anyway. Only the view from the outside are clean and good.

  • Plum Blossom Festival is held every year. Open fit a variety of events since fun. However, very crowded (bus to go there with the Kitano Tenman-gu shrine in the road) so think I should be headed as soon as. From Kyoto station on the bus I ride. I visited the deposited luggage with stairs have to anyway because people travel is easier.
