  • Sai Street from Hankyu saiin station went to the West, up to the North and soon. I went several times to pray for safe travel. Lots of stalls, is a small shrine and Festival once a year I get.

  • Know that from 11:00 nanakusagayu and examine the events beginning of journey to Kyoto was a 1/7, so here West of Kasuga Taisha Shrine, visited. Thought line of wonder, arr. 10:20. From the 10:30 Wakana Festival Festival fire could see events from the development. This is not a nanakusagayu Wakana porridge. We pray for health for one year and a rich harvest.

  • The Kasuga Shrine is within walking distance from the Todai-ji Temple and to the Nara JR Station. I did not get to go inside the temple because there was a ceremony going on but the place was packed -...  more »

  • not so huge but good place. if you stay near saiin sta, you should visit.
  • Decent sized temple hidden in the alleyways. They hold a festival every year on the 2nd weekend of October so be sure to drop by and check out the local culture.
  • In 833, faced the deity from the Kasuga Taisha Shrine of NARA's beginning. From Princess Pemphigus has recovered has been worshiped as a deity of illness or mishaps charm. Also known as a shrine, a baptized child, safe delivery of your placenta mounds at the birth of Emperor Akihito Takao.
