  • Programs dealing with the hell on NHK's Historia views this done-not thousands say there is Yama this enma Hall. Senbon as admission for the memorial service, small buildings along the parking lot behind the temple, behind the front of the statue of Yama Pope enshrined in present is impossible. Towards the temple, left and go back along the right wall, the temple Office (from the parking-friendly) mizuko kuyo without an odd atmosphere (成renakatta to take photos! ) To leave. Next is the purple Murasaki Shikibu memorial stupa (important cultural property) built in 1386. Memorial Service why is unclear. At a glance: senbon enma Hall is officially called delights of 引接-JI the founder Ono no Takamura Sir (802 – 853 year) has a supernatural power to travel to heaven and Earth, daytime Court, night devil, said Masayuki served the mausoleum of senbon enma Hall begins to have enshrined the devil Pope to Suzaku Grand street. The younger Sir method indicator "pick up your spirits', depending on the funerary offerings and pick up the Bell tried to cleanse this world of this place. The joy of 引接-ji Temple in 1017, English Saint constant close enough to her article.

  • White signs that senbon enma Hall had become concerned about from 30 years ago. Walking tour around the shrines of Nishijin-Ori had no chance to go. Speaking of younger poets can travel freely to the world and the other world that Ono no Takamura Yukari Temple is associated rokudo Temple of consideration. This is called rendaiji field, I wonder if the legend was on par with the consideration field and the field of spirituality sent only to a similar. Environment is cluttered and the live monthly parking and stupa sink Japan. Temple name 引接 is smash and synonyms. Accompanied by samisen music flowed when I visited, but was kinda creepy.

  • Senbon Enmado 千本閻魔堂 : Senbon Emmado in another name ( Injoji Temple 引接寺 いんじょうじ ) is a Shingon temple of Japanese Buddhism. Injo means that Buddha leads our way after life to the heaven. It was founded way in the 11th century. The temple is located on Senbon Street ( on the west side ) between Imadegawa and Kitaoji street. It's a little south of Kuramaguchi street. It is in the middle of shops on the street known as Senbon shopping arcade. The temple in known for its deity of Emma who is the King of the Hell and its Main Hall is dedicated to Emma, the King of Hell. On the west side the precincts there are so many Jizo can seen behind the main hall. This part is very enjoyable. There is a large water pool right in front of Jizos. On the side is an offering box and dippers. Just offer some small change and splash water over Jizos using one of those dippers. Before you come around to this corner of the temple, you walk through a little space of many interestinng features such as a garden with some small shrine gates along with stone monuments, statues, tomb stones etc. Senbon Enmado is also known for its rare varieties of late-flowering cherry trees and an impressive stone pagoda in the grounds.
