  • I walked from the ichijōdani station. Through the Ichijo-ji Temple down pine trees in the middle. Summer drinks bring is required, so very far from the station. Eight shrines are sitting very the feeling of power spot. Has become a shrine of Musashi from ago the battle of Ichijo-ji Temple down pine to dueling Miyamoto Musashi and the Yoshioka clan stopped at eight. There is a statue of Miyamoto Musashi, Ichijo-ji Temple down pine old-timers were enshrined. Nokyo-sho! In a two-page spread is good.

  • Billboards of Shirakawa-Dori in Kyoto are coming and this shrine is very visible. Is a famous sisendou and raccoon Valley fudoson Temple in the same direction, but the most prominent sign of this shrine. Here is table kimon for Kyoto seems to be of God. It is in fact named after Miyamoto Musashi's FanFic novel winning good luck shrine. Validity is "ineffably, pray for victory, except misfortune bring luck, who except pray for" and said that "of the neighborhood, I" did. Amulet has been sealed may at that time in "katsumori", Eiji Yoshikawa's novel (not historical) Musashi dueled down pine trees? And and and. Is a Shinto shrine that have a Cup.

  • While walking in Ichijoji, Kyoto, I came across this famous swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi! Miyamoto Musashi is one of Japan’s most iconic and legendary swordsmen, not to mention one of the best. Musashi fought with two swords in the way of the Ni-ten Ichi Ryu, and he was also famous for throwing his swords and sometimes even shuriken. He was the author of The Book of Five Rings, and in his lifetime from the time he was thirteen, fought 60 duels undefeated, not taking into account the men he took down during wars or battles. Musashi adopted three sons and died in his sixties of natural causes, kneeling with his sword in his left hand, a cane in his right.
  • Hachidai at the Shrine eight shrine Next to Shisendo is Hachidai at the Shrine where Miyamoto Musashi had a big battle with a great samurai. Just go up the hill toward east is Tanukidani Fudo-in Temple. Going down the slope you will come to a place called Ichijyoji Kudari Matsu which is a place where Musashi made an arrangement of this battle under a pine tree. (Kudari = go down+Matsu = pine tree). Read this page for the detail. (TGM Kyoto Guide) eight shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Kyoto, sakyo-Ku, Ichijo teramatsu-machi. 5 months 4 days Festival is held. Middle raccoon Valley Mountain fudoin from Ichijo-ji Temple down pine and manshuin Hospital Road, adjacent to the sisendou. Wikipedia
