  • It is known in legend on the kamogawa East-West streets and Gojo-Dori Gojo Ohashi came at the end of the Heian Era benkei and ushiwakamaru bridge. On the West side of Gojo bridge "benkei and ushiwakamaru" stone monuments. It seems to be a mere Gojo Ohashi bridge is the bridge or concerning Toyotomi Hideyoshi, historic bridge.

  • The bridge today has no particular reasons of attraction for architecture to design features and we passed by accident. However you can see on the two statues representing the duel between the hero Yoshitsune Minamoto General of Imperial clan Taira and the monk Benkei fought on the original bridge that Herculean which effectively in 1589 was moved here from Toyotomi Hideyoshi. If it passes then at least you know that anecdote If this review did you like, you can read about my many other for Kyoto, Tokyo, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima and Japan and I'm glad a click on: is it useful?

  • Walked across the bridge a view times to get to Kiyo-Gojo metro station from where I was staying. It is nice enough but the views aren't magical. Not worth a special visit
