  • Overcrowded conditions... wow!... when such a busy now?? It costs a lot less than 500 yen admission fee. Here is Rinzai South Zen sect Temple opens, Tokugawa Ieyasu. Displays "printing" of the Kanji are said to be the oldest in Japan. Ieyasu is made here in going to university like? According to tourists about suikinkutsu in the garden, but in the hustle and bustle in the inaudible sounds distinctly heard... certainly, directly, the former priest here because my previous and priest together with the rat race, so the story well, first in a thoughtless try? Fooled... surprised by what it is (he's) been invited to, became the chief priest, and... than I am a bit young like (so well). Zazenkai (1,000 yen) is the organized Sunday only by appointment.

  • The admission totally worth. The garden is really worth seeing the shrine but rather average. There's also a nice observation deck above in the forest where you can sit down to internalize the impressions. There is also a beautiful bamboo forest, magical!

  • I think the more famous people are below average. And the rakuhoku so leaves early?. Red Maple look perfectly beautiful. Here is the early morning pilgrimage from 7:30 (1,000 yen) during the fall foliage season there. Check with the Temple period. They sat on the porch of the temple Mt. Bunao Observation House and garden's foliage matches. Tsukubai branches of leaves, and had a very quaint.

  • Came to the temple a late afternoon in December. Didn't realise it had such a splendid view of Kyoto, I was fortunate to watch the sunset. Entrance is 500 yen.
  • Enkoji Temple : Nice moss garden in its front with higan flowers grown in September. After visiting Matsugasaki you can go toward south along Shirakawa street and move toward east. That's how you get to Shugakuin district. There are some temples such as Manshu-in, Shisendo, Enkoji in the middle of eastern mountains in this area. This area is rich in nature and farm land and rice field up on the hill at the foot of the mountains. You see a lot of Higan Flowers along the way. Especially the ones at Enkoji Temple is spectacular. ( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide 9
  • great i love it
  • 圓光寺 is your favorite places. Since few people can enjoy slowly. Ponds and MOSS and bamboo forest and landscape at least once to see your garden is very nice and beautiful. Neat garden planted bamboo and Maple and MOSS are the leaves in the water was a fantastic space. Because Hill has 圓光寺 views often overlooking the mountains and houses. Is the garden carpet of foliage spread around again, the leaves began to fall off one side red, yellow and green ground, jumps out the vivid paint colors. You can enjoy with all five senses, four seasons to like looking at big picture.

  • Hear the suikinkutsu sound, take a look at. Put the water in a ladle and sound change. Tokugawa Ieyasu's tomb is located here. It's sunlight Tosho-gu shrine, wouldn't you. There it is. It is built in the North-East of the Imperial Palace (ushitora kimon) I guess. Say Nikko Toshogu Shrine and kan'ei-ji temple built in the direction the demon's Gate of Edo Castle, and, and.
