  • A nice park where the monkeys are in their natural environment and live independently but are comfortable around humans. Great keepers working here. Would definitely visit again. If visiting make sure...  more »
  • Go to the top (its not that high) where there is an observatory deck. This must be the one of the ticks when visiting Arashiyama. A pity some avid photographers hog the small observatory deck.  more »

  • Take time to stroll along the river. Old men steering a traditional boat using a long bamboo stick with the background of the monkey forest is quite peaceful. Then go up to the main park, which is simply beautiful.
  • Bamboo groves you probably seen first when googling for places to visit in Japan. Worth visiting but remember that there is a lot of tourists in here as well, occasionally driving in taxis through here .
  • Nice feeling of peaceful, harmony and calmness when u r in the park especially in the morning.
  • The Park is connecting to Bamboo forest, after long walk in bamboo path you could take some rest in this park.
  • Good for a stroll and view of the river is great!
