Categories: Lookouts, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web
Take in views of the rolling verdant hills from Nokogiriyama Nihonji Tenbodai, a lookout point high in a mountain park dotted with Buddhist sculpture. Be prepared for the climb, which consists of many steps, and takes around 45 minutes each way. Alternatively, opt to take the mountain's ropeway to the peak. From the top, you'll be able to view the hills, town, and bay far below from a dramatic viewing point, with railings for peace of mind. Look out for the notable temple and sculptures along the way, dating back to 725 CE, and bring along a picnic and plenty of water for the journey. Put Nokogiriyama Nihonji Tenbodai on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Kyonan-machi itinerary planner.

  • What hopes, without the went on tour. A number of passages carved in stone as the Bamiyan ruins reminiscent of, and statues. Lush Moss, tree roots, Ivy stones are magnificent in it. Somehow Japan wasn't. There are stairs and scaffolding of sneakers and is required. I think if 3 hours 10 minutes leisurely, explorative. Note the toilet 1 locations only not so much.

  • I visited in the boso peninsula travel. View of mountains from the clouds occasionally, but was followed by the appearance of white for a while for the bad weather that day, there were a lot of clouds, strong wind and was beautiful. Are quite craggy rocks, so quite impressive. Nice views of the mountains and the sea from the cable car on the way back. I'd like to go on a sunny day here.

  • With only a few days' opportunity we headed off in spite of heavy mist and drizzle. No view for us but the mist lent a mystical air and the walk to the lookout was worth it.
