Where to stay in Kuwana

Take a look near to the main train station for the primary accommodations in Kuwana. The choice remains fairly limited, with business hotels the norm, offering onsite restaurants, pools, and comfortable rooms. Many choose to stay in Nagoya and visit Kuwana as a day excursion, with the larger city to the east having far more accommodations, attractions, restaurants, and nightlife. However, those intent on staying near to Kuwana could look at the island that separates the Ibi and Kiso rivers, where you'll find some well-appointed spa hotels and retreats.

  • Lots of great rides for the whole family. Of course there is the usual cues, but some have the option to buy an express pass for about 1000yen. We stayed at the hotel so entry was free, we just bought...  more »

  • Steel Dragon was fun and very high but too fast for enjoyment. You are pulled downhill and it takes away the weightless feeling that provides so much thrill. If they slow it down it would be even longer and more thrilling. Incredibly clean park and low wait times, even on a weekend!
  • Visited for the waterpark. Disappointed that there was less than half the attractions open. The wait time was over 30minutes and when the storm came they closed the park. No refund provided so we ended up paying 3500 each for only two rides.
  • Full of awesome roller coasters. Plenty of softer rides. Plenty of unique rides for all levels of bravery. Fairly priced food. No absurd crowds like USJ or Tokyo Disneyland. Lines are reasonable. Cheap. Onsen is great too. Perfect theme park.
  • Great place to play or spa. Something for all ages. Water park, roller coaster, kids area, spa, outlet shopping. Food buffet is one of the best ones, with kids food.
  • Best Roller coaster amusement park in Japan other than Fuji Q Highland. There are around 11 different roller coaster, one of them is the longest roller coaster on the world. Highly recommended for thrilling ride seekers.
