  • Tourist spots around the country to sell illumination, but otherwise everything is topped the national rankings here, for the magnificence of its size and color even for adults "are superb! "And so have some voice. This year to cheer the Kumamoto "bear travelogue of our hometown of Mont" and entitled to grass Chisato's ASO big bear Mont appeared, and the kids are happy. Head down to the prepared plan as well as overwhelmed by the differences in scale and other facilities such as the taiga of the tunnel of light and light contact is. Is free of the admission fee (2300 yen), and should advance the restaurant hall and a cold anyway so get that break in the warm in the middle of the restaurant and recommend adults.

  • I have to be honest, prior to coming here I was thinking this would top all the places listed in our places to visit in Japan. However I was astounded when I wasnt impressed that much with the display...  more »

  • I want to go back there. The illimumination is amazing. However i felt rushed as the transportation is limited. I was catching bus for a shinkansen ride. To be able to do so you need to leave at 19.30 as it took sometime to nagoya. It is advised for you to plan the schedule in detail to make sure that you got your way back to your stay. However it wont be a problem if you stay somewhere nearby. You wont regret the experience here !
  • It was a great winter illumination. All around is filled with lightening. You may take many photos with great sight. Entrance is 2300 yen/person during winter illumination. Please be well clothed as it is very cold at evenning.
  • Amazing light show featuring the ever so cute Kumamon. Excellent photo opportunities here.
  • Beautiful evening light up show of the surrounding landscapes. Daytime flower beds also great display.
  • It's far away from station but worth to go. The illumination was so beautiful. And their begonia garden was mesmerized me.

Where to stay in Kuwana

Take a look near to the main train station for the primary accommodations in Kuwana. The choice remains fairly limited, with business hotels the norm, offering onsite restaurants, pools, and comfortable rooms. Many choose to stay in Nagoya and visit Kuwana as a day excursion, with the larger city to the east having far more accommodations, attractions, restaurants, and nightlife. However, those intent on staying near to Kuwana could look at the island that separates the Ibi and Kiso rivers, where you'll find some well-appointed spa hotels and retreats.
