Daisekirinzan, Kunigami-son

#1 of 11 in Parks in Kunigami-son
Mountain Nature / Park
Step on the first land to emerge from the depths of the ocean at Daisekirinzan, the northern tip of Okinawa. Dated at 200 million years old, this ancient piece of land boasts lush tropical fauna, punctuated by striking rock formations reminiscent of Godzilla's spined back. Four well-marked hiking trails around the park take you through various parts of the landscape. The shortest, a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk, leads you 600 m (1,968.5 ft) through forests of banyan trees. The other trails range in length up to 1.1 km (0.6 mi), and take you across the strange rock formations and to viewing points high above the coast--expect some modest climbing. Wear sturdy shoes and bring along some water. A cafe and facilities at the trailhead let you rest and refresh after exploring this evocative landscape. • Visit the rare tropical Karst topography is seen and heard. Course to round the sea prospect courses chura said few and most standard. Along the way, the sides there was a spot overlooking the Hedo. View here is very good, very good. Barrier-free course can walk in heels or sandals, but the other courses are sneakers or think. On the other hand, feel the greatness of the nature and characteristic of rock and tree suggests that rock looks 00, '00 in blessings"sign up so much, there was half what a blessing here in this spot. However, and also tourist spot so that's what I was expecting a bit more natural feel, personally felt the gap. I think Zhou is good to go here rather than in other northern spots with.

  • At the northern tip of the main island of Okinawa ' sides Hedo "from tourist attractions. This "side Cape Hedo," went to the great stone forest mountain was going to, but I had become like before. While waiting for the shuttle bus to shuttle bus to explore the course starting point from the parking and ticket office, describes the course and recommended spots. Can be walking in young children, can stroll stroll and there are four courses, in wheelchair and stroller accessible course still is a beautiful sea view single stage and everybody without Banyan tree, and I all of is combining more than one course you can enjoy the great outdoors, over time, to walk slowly. Establish minimum required courses, and walks are available in light clothing and sandals, but repellent sprays, towels, drinking water is required. Lending umbrella storage facilities provided in some places, so don't worry about the sudden rain. (Kindergarten students did walk with elementary school students) requires about two hours of time to enjoy the combination of other barrier-free courses. It is recommended that minimum reserves, have enough time to visit.
