Daisekirinzan, Kunigami-son

#1 of 19 in Things to do in Kunigami-son
Step on the first land to emerge from the depths of the ocean at Daisekirinzan, the northern tip of Okinawa. Dated at 200 million years old, this ancient piece of land boasts lush tropical fauna, punctuated by striking rock formations reminiscent of Godzilla's spined back. Four well-marked hiking trails around the park take you through various parts of the landscape. The shortest, a wheelchair-accessible boardwalk, leads you 600 m (1,968.5 ft) through forests of banyan trees. The other trails range in length up to 1.1 km (0.6 mi), and take you across the strange rock formations and to viewing points high above the coast--expect some modest climbing. Wear sturdy shoes and bring along some water. A cafe and facilities at the trailhead let you rest and refresh after exploring this evocative landscape. Large stone forest mountain for kunigami village from Naha and Onna time takes I think I place which is worth visiting. • Selecting the course I want to go, there are four courses. Monument rocks (9/2017 present) as thoughts are creative nature of the Okinawa tropical plants, in addition to the chura sea seen from the top of the mountain and was very impressed. You can taste the region enough to anyone with disabilities, barrier-free course.

I went and have the power of mother nature. Go to navigation Street and thin side road from Highway 58 to the road. So think what tomonoura road at caution falling rock signs. Pretty prior to arrival and I all of it made me feel to the Interior. Going to the car parking area, see mountain. And making the exhibition facilities or something, had become the landscape a little bit disappointing. Walking trails are wheelchair accessible and seemed to choose from four courses.
