#1 of 19 in Things to do in Kunigami-son
The northernmost tip of Okinawa Island, Cape Hedo combines far-reaching ocean views and a rocky coastline. Walk along lush green trails that hug the cliffs' edge, gazing over clear blue water crashing against the rocks. Drop a coin in one of the many boxes to pay tribute to the gods of sea and wind, and look for the white stone sculpture of a mythical creature with the body of a fish and the head of a bird. If you're itching to get into the water, you'll find plenty of good spots for snorkeling and scuba diving. • Area located at the northern end of Okinawa, Hedo. High speed will take you from the airport, near 2 hours. At 58, line running along the sea and about 3 hours and a half. Worth a look is quite far, but there it is. It was as waves hit the rocks stand was a typhoon the next day when I went so terribly white-crested waves reach the Observatory. Height 15-long apartment? It was a great spectacle of fly spray in there to. For those who have time, so far, recommended the ❗ feel of considerable power.

  • Personally I million is like hair locus. Cliff dotted with stone. There is nothing around, dropping way too little! You should way so no convenience store toilet is done as soon as possible.

  • Is a Cape Hedo, Okinawa North edge of. Yoron Island looks from the Observatory. There like a Buddha image for some reason here, overlooking the sea and millions can see the terrain there like hair locus, such as Australia's Great Ocean Road. Put the images, so a quick look. It is a good views, so we'd suggest tourist destination. I felt around nothing on this day and shut shops as well, not even that just kinda. I hope to attract a bit more focused on tourism, can sell to specialty stores.

  • The star gazing that you can do here is amazing! The drive here is breath taking! And the view is just magnificent.
  • Worth a stop if you are visiting Northern Okinawa. Good parking and a couple short paved trails to some overlooks. The area has some high cliffs above the water, so the view is exciting and it is a good photo opportunity.
  • Appreciate wind, sea and sharp cliff. A long drive. Place it as one of the stop by points for the north Okinawa day trip.
  • One of the multiple must see locations in Okinawa. Bring yen for snacks if you decide to eat at the cape or at nearby restaurants. The drive to this location has great views so bring a camera.
  • Fantastic views over the ocean, beautiful cliffs & wild countryside. Well worth the drive across the island.
