Cape Hedo, Kunigami-son

The northernmost tip of Okinawa Island, Cape Hedo combines far-reaching ocean views and a rocky coastline. Walk along lush green trails that hug the cliffs' edge, gazing over clear blue water crashing against the rocks. Drop a coin in one of the many boxes to pay tribute to the gods of sea and wind, and look for the white stone sculpture of a mythical creature with the body of a fish and the head of a bird. If you're itching to get into the water, you'll find plenty of good spots for snorkeling and scuba diving. • In the northern part of Okinawa around do not want first saw stopped go. Still from this I wonder if I feel I'm as good as the landscape from Yanbaru Observatory think.

  • While stopping on the way from Nago, over nearly four hours, arriving. But the weak impact of Okinawa's northernmost edge, or stele and billboards. That means go play?

  • Cape on the northernmost tip of the main island of Okinawa and Yoron Island looks across the ocean. Not big restaurant in the area, it is a quiet place. Country comeback struggle monument and monument. Near the Okinawa rail, as a special natural treasure of endangered species habitat.

  • Pretty cool place to go see. If you live near the middle or south end of Okinawa just know this trip will take you quite a while. There is quite a bit to see walking around here, there are a few trails that take you farther west and closer to the water. Feel free to explore around a bit while you are up here as it’s not worth making multiple trips (in my humble opinion). The giant bird you see from the eastern side looking back towards the island is Yanbarukuina Observation Deck, it’s a pretty cool place to go see as well. So definitely check that out since you’re already up here.
  • Awesome views of the sea and the Rocky coastline. It wasn't very warm when we were there, but there was also some nice beaches to walk along in the area.
  • Cape Hedo is a very nice scenic spot. It is a bit of a drive but the trip is part of the fun. It was cool to visit the area where 2 seas come together and there are also a few stone monuments and statues to look at. Since you are already on the north part of the island, I also recommend visiting Dai Sekirinzan Park which is only a few minutes away by car.
  • The most beautiful cape with blue water and waves. The northest point of Okinawa mainland
  • The view of cliff and sea is gorgeous. The drive up is pretty scenic.
