During the Seinan war, carrying artillery and steppe in Kumamoto for Government forces, veterans of the Tahara slope 3 m, distance 1... It is what became a large fierce battle extending for 17 days in between the Satsuma army and compelled to use the road for about 5 km and trying to stop this. • Very historical place in Kumamoto. Came to Tabaruzaka made me remember the story of Samurai X. The great thing about this story is the government doesn't make the rebels look like bad person and the meiji government as the good side but they literally tell the story in netral way, that this rebellion is part of Japan's history. Come to Tabaruzaka, enjoy the scenery and visit the museum, the entrance fee for the museum is very cheap.
  • Great for cherry blossom viewing and picnics.
  • In what became a battle ground here? Ahaha your-hoe is firm and rake. Kato kiyomasa's strategy was at all here was the hub of was the Grand River romance points. Very good climbing the Park on foot, while focusing on the period motoring Tahara Hill Road is now, nicely paved so you can, mud, being pulled by horse artillery. In that case on the slope of a parking lot. It is recommended to people who want to enjoy a good vantage point Park Interpretive Center, so look carefully.

  • Tahara Hill said was Japan's last civil war is a beautiful blooming azalea park. I don't think 4,000 people lost their lives too. Visit 4/16, azaleas around the golden week would be in full bloom.

  • Cherry blossoms is ignorant and haunted spot image was was spacious and quiet. Hot, and settled several stray cats in blossom. Know for the first time in a stone monument engraved with the names of the war dead, not knowing of the Satsuma rebellion, it was a battlefield in, small museum and learned.
