  • Just off the famous Kumamoto Castle, you can walk down to it after the castle tour. They recreated traditional Japanese architecture and made a small 'village' with its own square for activities. Lots...  more »
  • You may be lucky enough to catch the free samurai show featuring good looking young guys struttin` their stuff in period costume. Afterwards they wandered around the shops for photo ops and chatting. ...  more »
  • I visited the place with a friend, did some quick shopping and got some good food. The ambiance is that of the Edo period, apparently and it takes you back the centuries no doubt.  more »
