  • Some famous reirei. The ring of Miyamoto Musashi in here and wrote "the book of five rings" said. So here you go up to the very narrow path we run, please visit with safe driving. The cave itself is not so big, but here think Miyamoto Musashi was jerk. People with similar hobbies, but I liked the history of visit. It is recommended after dark around than you think, so on sunny days to go.

  • The area of Miyamoto Musashi. The entrance is applied, such as Miyamoto Musashi. And manufacturing in China? Felt something from there down towards the bottom to cave. Go to the cave many statues. Up on the mountain and not face was little scary statue. Arrive at the cave. Musashi spent here and I think it wasn't cold?!? Was not in the room, I'm afraid of it? As I thought. We recommend going to good weather was sunny but cold day. A rainy day on the bumpy road to walk, so not recommended. From the way I wasnt even good weather was. Please note that.

  • They said crossed meditating on the big rocks of Miyamoto Musashi in here is. Foliage was beautiful in a very quiet location. On the rock face lined with lots of stone, broken neck, a little scared? Entrance to parking lot is big Miyamoto Musashi.

  • This cave temple is straight out of indiana jones, - we went on a rainy day which was actually perfect because there was noone else around and the light rain made it seem even more mystical and eerie. you pay around 300 yen at the door. theres some artefacts at the door in a glass case with supposedly dragon skin petrified and musashi's paddle/wooden sword which was used in a his famous final duel. and as you walk through there are small carvings of 500 bhuddist monks that achieved enlightment then you walk some more and there is a cave where musashi meditated. this cave was used as mystical spot in ancient times so predates most of the bhuddist period. definately reccomend going if your into seeing mystical surrreal places.
  • Creepy doesn't even begin to describe this remote temple. Surreal, mystical, hair-raising... This was by far the weirdest temple we visited. It was definitely worth the drive up, but I'll think twice before visiting this place at night.
  • It's a great historical place if you favor Japan's greatest samurai, Miyamoto Musashi.
  • Book of five rings birth place
  • A historical place with a spirit
