Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web
Take in the unspoiled beauty of the white sand beach at Nagata Inakahama, a quiet stretch of coast with clear waters and picturesque views. Go for a walk or swim, snap some photos, and relax on the sand. One of the main highlights here happens between May and August: at night, you can witness the rare loggerhead turtle coming ashore to lay its eggs. In one of nature's most interesting life cycles, around 500 turtles visit here each year, the same beach they were born on 10 to 20 years prior. Put Nagata Inakahama and other Kumage-gun Yakushima-cho attractions into our Kumage-gun Yakushima-cho itinerary planner, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • I stopped by during a drive around the island. Parking space about eight minutes. Still climb down to the beach, we walked leisurely stroll. Popular not so much garbage and even almost not very helpful. There was used as a resting place. Or carved in the wave shape of the beach a little interesting.

  • On a rainy day, and certainly in the drive, but reasonably clean coast you could see. You can eat, on our lunch break where the roof, toilet. I'm a great break to drive on island 1.

  • It came in the middle of the round the island of Yakushima. Beach just isn't so famous at turtles laying eggs, the season. The view of parking lot is located. Go down the stairs and lovely beaches. When I visited quite strong waves.
