  • I visited on the day of the March long weekend. You can slow you appreciating in close valuable Buddhist images. Especially me, Buddha like the didn't have proper knowledge about type (Tathagata, bodhisattva, Ming, cloths, Rakan, the high priest, and so on) or type of Buddha (Shaka Nyorai, Yakushi Nyorai and Amitabha Buddha, Vairocana), detailed descriptions are provided print and study hard now. The hotel apart from cold (felt colder than the inner sanctuary, walked outside early in the morning. Even cooler doing? Or so I think. ) It is recommended to be taken properly dressed depending on the season.

  • A great museum with some absolutely stunning statues, artworks and artifacts going back to the very beginnings of Koyasan. A short walk from the Dai Garan and Kongobu-ji and only 600 yen to enter, I can highly recommend it. English information pamphlets are available and the names of the exhibited items are in English and Japanese but the bulk of the information is in Japanese
  • A decent museum showing some aspects of Mt Koyasan's history. An English guide is highly recommended
  • An amazing museum with artifact up to a thousand years old. Quite a few items were from the 13-hundreds. Lots of scrolls and statues. Very impressive.
  • holy museum
  • Bright building statues of national treasures and important cultural properties, and Buddhist artifacts carved letters and much more are exhibited in the reihokan Museum, exhibits better come if you are come on Mt. kōya was amazing easy-to-understand instructions at reihokan Museum ❗
