  • We went by car. In nearby Kotohira and parking guidance section, normally induced parking. Was the first mistake. So I go to the "Nakano noodle school" on induction "Nakano udon school parking lot is? "And listen, here it's not! That went to nearby Kotohira entrance said. In the parking lot though scenes from not only here! I go by car because it directs the attention is required.

  • Travel light and be prepared to walk a lot of stairways if you want to climb to the top. The scenery is great up at the temple.
  • Free entry, great atmosphere, and extremely old and detailed shrine structures make this a most visit while in the region. Be prepared to climb up a thousand steps to reach the summit. A variety of touristy shops and onsen in the area, but we didn't get to explore those as we arrived late in the evening. The surrounding shops close at around 5pm.
  • several thousand of steps up to famous shrine, view is wonderful, test your willpower but very tired...
  • Simply a fantastic evasion into the nature, walk the 1368 steps and observe the valley from the top :)
  • This is a shrine to all the elements of the "your 宮詣ri" really. Torii, a long, narrow stone steps. The light of the wide variety of trees and Sun drop leaking from there. Road to filled with bustling small shops. The cats were kept free there. In the meantime, stroll with... Choose souvenirs, eat sweet buy (laughs). People friendly and bright. And then climb gradually become elevated. Blowin' in the wind there, overlooking the scenery is also good. Environment is something to feel, dignified atmosphere. 踏mi締meru gravel too comfortable. Jimba and large screws. There is an impressive supporting cast comes multiplied by talking, but don't say anything. Kotohira-Gu na, "Gold's character is seen all over the place. That came at last!. And much more all the way uptown and more joy came. If you want. In it... or a "blessing". ✨🙆
