Categories: Gardens, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
Explore the flawlessly manicured oasis at Kiyosumi Teien. Having passed through the hands of various powers, the garden was donated to the city of Tokyo and opened to the public in 1932. Its current form represents the creation of the founder of Mitsubishi, who brought in renowned rocks from all over the country and channeled the waters of the Sumidagawa to create the picturesque pond. Wander the stepping stone paths, watch turtles and fish floating below the water's surface, and inspect the 4,000 trees clustered in this lush landscape. Nature lovers might want to bring a pair of binoculars to observe the many birds from the nearby river and bay attracted here. • I don't think Tokyo, laid-back air flows, will be healed. Admission charges will be relieved when just right. Relaxation, rest and cool under the shade in summer, so there are benches here and there and others less so. And a lot of birds and turtles and Koi in the pond, just look at also lost time.
